How serious is the shortage of Bibles?
According to the Bible League, some 200 million Christians worldwide still do not have a Bible (in spite of the commendable efforts of many Christian organizations). And as the church has experienced explosive growth in the last twenty years, the shortage of Bibles has only intensified. The Bible League further estimates that, "at least 2 billion people in our world will eagerly receive and read the Scriptures if presented with the opportunity, with a significant number of these becoming believers in Jesus Christ through simply reading the scripture."

What exactly are digital Bibles?
A digital Bible is simply scripture text on computer media (such as CDs or DVD's), which can be rapidly copied to any number of computers for reading, study, analysis, and printing for distribution.

How will digital Bibles be of use to third world or impoverished nations?
Many nations once considered third-world are rapidly becoming computer savvy. For years, computers in Asia were only found in universities, businesses and Internet cafes; but now, Asian nations represent the most promising market for PCs in the world. This is especially true of China where a huge percentage of computer parts are manufactured.

What is a digital track?
A digital track is a multimedia interactive gospel presentation on a computer disk(CD). By simply inserting a disk into any personal computer, a person can both see and hear the gospel message as well as have access to an abundance of Christian literature.

What are your strategies for distribution?
Our current focus is primarily upon China and the Arabic nations. CDs are now being produced and distributed by missionaries across China, targeting Christian training centers and churches. The CDs can be copied in minutes and we are certain that any copies smuggled into China will be multiplied many times over. Moreover, since the black market for computer software is so prevalent across China, we are seeking to supply black-market "suppliers" with copy-able CDs in hopes that through this well established network, anyone in China will be able to buy an entire Christian library (in their own language) for about the price of a US dollar. Our stratagies will be somewhat different for the Arabic world.

What about US copyright laws?
Materials distributed are in the public domain. Viewing software (primarily an internet browser) is already built into the operating system. We will not include any material on our CDs that is protected under US copyright laws, unless full and adequate permission is obtained.

Are multi-lingual digital Bibles available over the internet?
Yes, they are. However, because oppressive governments (such as China and especially the Arabic world) closely monitoring internet activity, it is often hazardous for persecuted believers to log onto "Christian" web sites. That being said, the best internet resources for multi-lingual digital bibles that we are aware of is Ethnic Harvest.

How are donated funds used?
One hundred percent of donated funds are used for the production and distribution of Bibles and Christian literature in digital format (with primary focus upon overcoming the worldwide shortage of Bibles).
